Adi Jamaludin started his very own adventure in theatre in 2006. He worked on stage and on screen for various companies before settling down to be a full-time entertainer in Sentosa till 2010.
In 2013, armed with a Diploma in Mass Communications as well as a BA in English and Literature, and his vast experiences in acting, he then moves into teaching drama classes focusing on theatrical skills, communication skills as well as speech. He also teaches creative writing skills for students of various levels.
In terms of achievements, Adi has been awarded numerous accolades such as best actor, best director and best writer.
Students in his classes have excelled in competitions and went on to be the champions in competitions such as the National Story Challenge and the South West CDC Eco Skit Competitions. They have also been earning themselves Distinctions for the Trinity Guildhall Examinations.
Some of his recent works include a short film, Mak Kat Mana?, commissioned by the National Arts Council; a pre-recorded stage production, Live, which was produced by The Esplanade Limited, and an exploratory theatre piece titled Ma, Mum, Mak, produced in collaboration with The Theatre Practice. He has also self-produced 2 theatre for the young performances titled “Kata Orang Tua-Tua”, which was staged at the Arts House in 2023 and “Kawan”, which was staged at Gateway Theatre in 2024. Both works are supported by the National Arts Council and the ARTS Fund.
Adi has completed his Master in Education (Drama) with NIE and is currently pursuing his Master in Creative Writing with the University of Arts, Singapore (UAS).
